The tic tracer, originally known as the TIF 300HV Tic Tracer, now made by Amprobe as TIC 300HV, lets you select the range you need to test with the dual high and low (medium) voltage range selector switch.

Hold the Tic Tracer next to wires, devices, or other electrical conductors and listen for the constant sound in either voltage range.

Select the high voltage range and the TIF 300HV Tic Tracer AC Voltage Detector emits the constant sound to let you know when you are near high voltage equipment, wires or splices.

A great safety tool in that it works well in both the low and high voltage range.

Designed as a safe, easy to use high voltage detector, the TIF 300HV works great for lower voltages as well (90-600vac).

Made for the TIF 410A Hot Stick shown below for added high voltage safety.

Stay alert and always wear your gloves whenever working around a high voltage power supply or equipment.
