The AEMC 275HVD Non-Contact High Voltage Detector ranges from 240V - 275KV and is the new leader in PPE safety for non-contact testing of high voltage transformers or any high voltage power supply.

Designed for personal electricial safety the 275HVD High Voltage Detector when combined with a hot stick and insulated rubber gloves provides ultimate safety while working with, near or around high voltage.

An eight position rotary switch selects the range to be detected then as the sensor is moved closer to the voltage carrying conductor, it's sensor head picks up the radiated electric field.

When the predetermined threshold is reached, the 275HVD's buzzer sounds and a bright red warning light warns the operator of live conductors.
